On Sunday 15 September there was a jury meeting for Vidar Lundquist at the home of the new chairman Peter Sjödin in Västerås. The jury this time also consisted of Thorvald Nielsen and Ben Strengell.
Vidar presented the journey from his computer to a TV so that everyone could clearly follow his journey. The jury agreed that Vidar's very personal video log during the trip was extremely pleasant and entertaining. The most dramatic thing during the paddling was when Vidar in his kayak was run over by a motorboat at the entrance to Arkösund. Fortunately, Vidar escaped unscathed, but he had to spend a few days repairing the kayak with many layers of fiberglass. There was no doubt that the jury could approve the paddling.
After the briefing, Vidar was offered a sandwich with a drink in the usual order, followed by coffee and a delicious cake with an inscription.

Vidar's stats on his paddling - some details for everyone's amusement. It is the second line with the numerical data that applies.
By a happy coincidence, Vidar had his kayak on the roof of the car and here you can clearly see what a fine repair he carried out all by himself
